1. Key Concepts to Understand Before Depositing
Before making any deposit, please carefully confirm the following:
1. Blockchain Network (“Chain”)
Different cryptocurrencies may support multiple blockchain networks. For example, USDT supports:
- ERC20 (Ethereum network)
- TRC20 (TRON network)
- BEP20 (Binance Smart Chain)
2. Token
Multiple tokens with similar names may exist on the same chain.
Always verify the token contract address is correct.
3. Chains and Tokens Supported by WEEX
Each token is supported on specific chains on WEEX — you cannot switch chains at will. For example:
- WEEX supports USDT on TRC20, ERC20, and OP chains, but does not support OPBNB.
- For TRC20/ ERC20 USDT deposits: The minimum deposit is 1 USDT. Amounts below 1 USDT will not be credited. Minimums vary by token and are listed on the deposit page.
- BTC is only supported on its native BTC network and BEP20 — no other chains are accepted.
- Deposits depend on blockchain network conditions and require confirmation by miners.
⚠️ Always double-check the deposit address. Once a transaction is sent, it cannot be canceled or changed.
2. Step-by-Step Deposit Process
Step 1: Log into your WEEX account
Open the WEEX app or website and enter your login credentials.
Step 2: Go to [Assets] → [Deposit] → [On-chain Deposit]
Step 3: Select the correct Token and Chain
Example: If you’re depositing USDT, WEEX supports TRC20, ERC20, and others.
Choose the chain based on your external wallet or exchange (e.g., TRC20 for low fees).
⚠️ Important: The deposit chain must match the one selected on WEEX.
Using the wrong chain may result in lost funds.
Step 4: Copy the address or scan the QR code
After confirming the token and chain, copy the WEEX deposit address or scan the QR code.
Step 5: Transfer from your external wallet or exchange
Paste the copied address into the sending platform, verify the chain matches exactly, then submit the transaction.

3. Common Mistakes to Avoid

4. How to Confirm Your Deposit
- Log into WEEX and go to [Assets] → [History] to view status

- Once confirmations are complete, funds usually arrive within 10 minutes (Some tokens may vary based on network conditions)
